For Centuries people have had the perception that meditation is going to
another reality or being able to see things. To complicate matters further their perception
has them believing that meditation needs to be guided by someone else outside themselves.
What meditation is, is a state of
calm, of tranquility that is found by becoming at one with the sounds
of silence. This silence can also be the natural sounds that surround
you. If you live in the city it would be becoming at one with the
traffic on the streets outside your home. If you live in the country it
may be becoming at one with the sounds of nature. Once we become at
peace with the sounds around us we can go within to find the sound of
inner silence that will block out all the natural sounds and stimuli
that surrounds us where we are.
The confusion about meditation is the work of the ego driven
persons who want to teach you for money. The authors, teachers, and
gurus all have a dollar investment that comes by generation your
confusion.
Simply put meditation is the practice of emptying your thoughts and
can be achieved through walking with out headphones, driving without
music, playing solitaire in silence, sewing, knitting, painting,
sculpting etc.
You do not need a designated place, you do not need candles, or certain music.

![]() Remember that a full vessel retains nothing new. The point of
meditation is to empty your inner space so that the answers, the peace, and knowledge
